AR004: The Incen Diaries vol.1

This mixtape was pulled from the archives for your pleasure. It was originally released in late 2008 and was sourced, programmed, and produced by ärtful owner, Gabe Ratliff (aka Lukos). Coming from a film background, the concept was a prototype for a much larger multimedia project, called The Incen Diaries, a play on the word "incendiary". The goal was to take the DJ mix to a new level by using music, similar to a score or soundtrack, to tell a fantasy tale that Ratliff outlined and developed himself. The mix is filled with some favorite "incendiary" records that tell an intimate yet epic story of a reluctant hero and their journey through loss, love, redemption, and triumph. Filled with the likes of prolific artists like Trent Reznor, Sigur Ros, M83, and Amon Tobin, The Incen Diaries: Vol.1 is a fun, musical journey for lovers of electronic music and fantasy.
